Making Bend our home

I’m a numbers guy and started my career in 1995 winning the Gold Medal award for the highest score on the CPA exam in Oklahoma, where my wife Nicole and I grew up, got married, and started a family (3 boys). In 2011, after more than a decade of CFO experience at a midsize energy and family office, we left our hometown (and corporate life) behind and moved to Bend Oregon. We quickly became involved in the startup community, became active investors both in local companies and several real estate properties, and I started work as CFO for several ventures.

I volunteer with the “Stable of Experts” through the Economic Development of Central Oregon (EDCO) and have a long background doing volunteer mentor work with underprivileged kids. I enjoy helping CEO’s build and improve their business, combining my strong accounting background as an Audit Manager for Big Six global accounting firms with my consulting experience in strategic planning and execution.

My Commitment to your Company

As your contract CFO, I offer new and established CEOs my full attention and availability to help you build, improve, and exit your business.

When you work with me, you tap into my experience, not only as a CFO, but also as a founder, president, board member, investor, and entrepreneur (I have founded several ventures including inventing Capture, a board game that was licensed by the global company Game Salute in 2013).

Community Values

Of all the companies I’ve founded and partnered with in my career, I’m most proud of founding a 501c3 nonprofit mentoring program, Rocktown Youth Mentoring, that has benefited nearly 1,000 at-risk teens.

I feel blessed to offer my financial experience and support to help benefit social and community causes at the heart of Nicole’s and my values.
